1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our electrical services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

ERG Electric Ltd. provides residential, commercial, and emergency electrical services throughout the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Panel upgrades and service upgrades
• Lighting installation and upgrades
• EV charger installation
• Smart home electrical solutions
• Emergency electrical services (24/7)
• Electrical inspections and maintenance

3. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
• Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of assessment. Additional work discovered during the project may result in additional charges.
• We will communicate any changes to the scope of work and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional charges.
• Prices do not include permits unless explicitly stated. Permit fees are the responsibility of the property owner.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
• For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
• We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, and major credit cards.
• Outstanding balances may be subject to interest charges and collection fees.

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

• We strive to arrive within the scheduled appointment window. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Emergency services are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6. Warranty

ERG Electric Ltd. stands behind our workmanship:

• All labour is warranted for one (1) year from the date of completion.
• Materials and products are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or modifications by others.
• To make a warranty claim, contact us with your original invoice and description of the issue.

7. Licensing and Insurance

ERG Electric Ltd. is a licensed electrical contractor in British Columbia. We maintain:

• Valid BC Electrical Contractor License
• Comprehensive general liability insurance
• WorkSafeBC coverage for all employees
• Certified Journeyperson electricians on all jobs

8. Customer Responsibilities

As our customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your electrical needs and property conditions.
• Ensure safe access to work areas and clear space around electrical panels.
• Inform us of any known hazards or special conditions at the property.
• Obtain necessary permissions from landlords or strata councils if applicable.
• Be present or have an authorized representative present during service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ERG Electric Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Code Compliance

All electrical work performed by ERG Electric Ltd. complies with the current BC Electrical Code and Technical Safety BC requirements. We obtain necessary permits and arrange for inspections as required by law.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter. If we cannot reach a resolution, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in British Columbia, in accordance with BC law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
